Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, is developer Techland’s newest installment in the first-person cowboy shooter series of games.  The previous game, Call of Juarez: The Cartel, sped up the the series to modern day Los Angeles and Mexico where players could take on the role of law enforcement personnel.  However, this time the series does a backwards gallop and shouts a mighty “Yeehaw!” as it returns to the old west.  The game arrives on May 22 on XBLA, PSN, and PC for the low gold rush price of only $14.99.

According to Joystiq, game publisher Ubisoft used their Uplay digital distribution network to include Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood as a bonus for those who pre-ordered the PC version early.  So, pull on your cowboy boots, saddle your horse, and ready your gun, because its going to be quite a shoot out.
