E3 2017: Breath of the Wild Master Trials Expansion Pack DLC Trailer Revealed

Breath of the Wild has captured the hearts of Zelda fans and even new players. Nintendo is continuing the adventure beyond the already expansive world with the Master Trials Expansion Pack.

Owners of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild game for either Wii U or the Switch will be able to purchase the Expansion Pass which includes both DLC Pack #1 and DLC Pack #2 for #19.99 USD. DLC Pack #1 is being released on June 30, 2017, and includes the “Master Trials”, Trial of the Sword, Master Mode, Hero’s Path, Travel Medallion, new masks and eight new armors to use in the battle against evil. DLC Pack #2 includes “The Champions’ Ballad” and will be released Holiday 2017.

Some fun masks coming with the first DLC pack are the Korok Mask, Majora’s Mask and Mida’s Helmet. Two new armors have been revealed too: the Phantom Armor (from the DS Spirit Tracks game) and the Tingle Armor (from GameCube’s Wind Waker game).

In addition to this news, Nintendo revealed four new Breath of the Wild amiibo. These new amiibo characters are in fact the honorable Champions of Hyrule. According to GameStop’s website, these four champions will be released on December 31, 2017.
