God of War: Ascension Getting 2 Player Co-Op Mode
The God of War series has always been a game about an individual, played by an individual. Although there are other multiplayer elements in Ascension we all assumed that the focus would be on the single player campaign… perhaps until now.
Sony has announced that a new mode called “Trial of the Gods” will be a two-player, wave-based cooperative mode which sees waves of enemies (five in total) come towards you alongside a countdown clock which can only be pushed up if kills are made and performance in-game is good.
What’s more exciting is that any experience gained in this mode can be carried over into the games over multiplayer modes.
