Rayman Legends Performing Well As Metacritic Calculates Its Metascore

With Rayman Legends launching later this week for European gamers and next week for our North American brothers (and sisters) many members of the press have already been hard at work reviewing the game before posting their reviews. How well has the once Wii U exclusive title done?

Very well is the answer to that little question. At the time of going to press, Rayman Legends has achieved a score of 91 out of 100 on Metacritic when combining ten reviews from websites such as Eurogamer,  Joystiq and IGN among others. As always here at Bagogames, we’ve taken the best and worst to give you a quick all-round idea on Rayman’s latest adventure!

Eurogamer Italy: 100%
“Rayman legends is the best 2D platform of this generation, hands down. No modern 2D Mario game is as good, brilliant and fun as the Ancel’s newborn. Hail to the new king!”

3DJuegos: 93%
“Rayman Legends is one of the best platform games you can play right now”

Nintendo Life: 90%
“We struggle to see how any version can be better than this (Wii U), as it’s a game that feels like it was designed solely for the system. It’s stunning platforming, with a move-set and dynamism unique to this fresh new series for the Rayman character, and its memorable.”

Joystiq: 90%
“If you’ve ever gleaned enjoyment from a platformer in your life, there’s simply no reason to pass up Rayman Legends.”

 

(And readers yes. 90% is the lowest score the game has current been awarded… impressive no?)
