Shocking News! Inafune’s Mighty No. 9 Looks Like Mega Man

Shocking News! Inafune’s Mighty No. 9 Looks Like Mega Man

During his GDC talk Keji Inafune showed off the first gameplay footage  of his extremely successful Kickstarter project, Mighty No. 9.  Coming from the creator of Mega Man it is of no surprise that this game looks and plays very much like a game from that franchise. As Mighty No. 9, otherwise known as Beck, runs and shoots his way across the screen, the trailer shows off the 8 other members of the Mighty crew that will serve as the bosses of the game. Each Mighty No. had a very distinct character design and fighting style, and are the equivalent of the 8 Robot Masters which usually appear in Mega Man games. Whether Might No. 9 will be able to absorb his enemies abilities as the Blue Bomber is we just don’t know.

Look out for Mighty No. 9 when it launches in Spring 2015. It will be available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Wii U, 3DS, Vita, Mac, Linux, PS3 and Xbox 360.
