Wii U Continues To Disappoint In US

Nintendo must be pretty upset with the way the Wii U is going at the moment, after all it is selling nothing like the original Wii console did in 2006.

A high-end estimate claims that January Wii U sales were at 55,000 units, a pretty big number by anyone’s stretch of the imagination but disastrous when you consider that Xbox 360 sales came in at around 281,000 units.

It was only recently after all that Nintendo emerged and stated that it had sold 3.06 million Wii U units worldwide as of the end of December 2012. The publisher now believes that it will be able to reach 4 million by the end of March 2013.
