Agents Of Mayhem brings Deep Silver Style Insanity to Summer Audiences

It has been about 2 years since we have seen any major release from Volition Studios. Their last release Saint’s Row: Gat of Hell was a wonderful romp and many gamers have been waiting for their next title. Agents of Mayhem was announced on June 6, 2016 and the developer has kept pretty silent on the title. Today Deep Silver’s Twitter announced the release date. On August 15 2017 the spiritual successor to the Saint’s Row series will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Agents of Mayhem will be a third-person open-world action adventure game, set in Seoul, South Korea. You play as a soldier of fortune who has joined a group funded by Ultor and who is tasked with fighting Dr. Babylon and his evil minions. I’m sure at the upcoming E3 2017 we will hear more specifics on this title, but seeing the trailer has me excited enough as it is. I’m a child of the 80’s and hearing the theme from The A-Team and Knight Rider really pull the nostalgia heartstrings. If the game is as good as this first trailer I’m sold.
