General Raam is the latest in the guest characters that have been added to the fighting game Killer Instinct, on Xbox One and Windows 10. The General is known as being a key villain in the Gears of War series, and this move is sure to capitalize on the growing hype Microsoft is building for Gears of War 4, one of their biggest launches of the fall.
Killer Instinct has been noted as the most played fighting game on Xbox One, with 7 million players. Earlier this year, Microsoft brought the game to Windows 10 on PC, and since it launched over 2 million matches have been played between Xbox One players and PC players.
General Raam is currently free to use to all Killer Instinct players, for this week. General Raam joins Halo’s Arbiter and Battletoads’ Rash, and the rumours are that Maya’s sister Mira will be added in the near future.
