Film Fallout Podcast #71 – Spider-Man’s Tour de Pharmacy

Spider-Man: Homecoming
(Spider-Man: Homecoming, Sony Pictures)

It’s your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man! This week, Christopher Cross and Dylan Schwan return to the Spider-Man franchise for what will hopefully be the last reboot of the character we see in a while. We review Spider-Man: Homecoming and talk about our newest version of Peter Parker, the stakes of the film, and ask who the hell Zendaya is.

We didn’t watch much this week as we’ve been preparing for Dunkirk by watching a bunch of Christopher Nolan movies, but Chris did see Castlevania‘s first season on Netflix, and Dylan watched HBO’s Tour de Pharmacy from the creators of 7 Days in Hell. There’s also a bunch of news including a very awkward video involving Vin Diesel extorting apologies from Michelle Rodriguez about her Fast and the Furious comments. We also have our weekly Blu-ray releases including The Fate of the Furious. You can find a retrospective on the franchise as well as our review of the film on BagoGames.

Next week, we shall return with a review of War for the Planet of the Apes. Until then, give a listen to the podcast below.

Film Fallout is a weekly podcast about film and television, hosted on Every week, Christopher Cross and Dylan Schwan discuss news happening in the industry, blu-ray releases coming out this week, what they’ve been watching, and then a review of one movie.
