Google To Donate 15,000 Raspberry Pi Computers To UK Schools

Google has confirmed that it will be making a donate of 15,000 Raspberry Pi Model B computers as a gesture of generosity.

Children who will be selected by various UK educational partners will each receive one of the 15,000 computers which are the size of a credit card and it has even caught the attention of examination boards with OCR promising to produce 15,000 free teaching and learning packages to help students utilise the new technology which they receive.

It makes you wish you were in education again doesn’t it!?
